
Howdy! I’m Merlijn — a 30-something Belgian game developer and programmer who probably plays too many video games.
Professionally, I split my time between the three companies I founded: Mithra Games, my one-person indie studio; Pandafish, a web development studio; and MyB’eats, an app and loyalty platform.
I’ve been tinkering with games for as long as I can remember, building my first levels in Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and Quake as a kid, moving on to modding Half-Life and Unreal Tournament as a teenager. Later, working as a technical artist and programmer in the games industry.
These days I’m just doing my own thing with Godot.
I sink way too many hours on my favorite shooter Hunt: Showdown, listening to Men I Trust on repeat, or messing around with retro games hardware & programming.
